Danie Roy is an experienced bilingual lawyer and owner of the law firm danie roy avocats • lawyers P.C./c.p. Inc. She has been practicing law for 20 years. She is a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Law Society and the Canadian Bar Association since her admission in 1996. 

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université de Moncton, a Bachelor of Law from the Université de Moncton and a Master of Laws in civil litigation and dispute resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She is trained in mediation and negotiation. 

Her favorite areas of practice are health law, contract law, labor law and administrative law. She is called upon on a regular basis to provide advice on matters related to policies, guidelines, and prevention and compliance requirements. She enjoys those challenges which do require strategic, analytical and negotiating skills. As a former managing partner and now owner of a law firm, she truly enjoys being actively involved in the management and conduct of the business of the firm.

She strongly believes in volunteer work. Some recent examples of involvement are: Secretary–treasurer of the health law national section, CBA; Chair of the court practices committee (CBA-NB); Member of the examination committee of the New Brunswick Law Society; Member of the bench/bar liaison committee; Past chair of the health law section (CBA-NB), Past vice-chair of the insurance law section (CBA-NB); Past member of council of the Canadian Bar Association (NB branch).
